Blackburn Betting Info
Blackburn hold a special place in Premier League history as the only club outside of the traditional big four to have won the title. Under the stewardship of Kenny Dalglish and aided by the wealth of Jack Walker Blackburn Rovers won the Premier League title after pipping Manchester United to the top spot by one point.
Since then the club went into a relatively rapid decline and were even relegated in 1999 before returning to the top flight in 2001. They rewarded Blackburn betting punters who put their money on the team to win the 2002 League Cup by defeating Tottenham in that year’s final.
Blackburn have won the FA Cup on six occasions but not since 1928. The aforementioned 2002 triumph is their only success in the League Cup to date while the 1995 Premier League triumph was their third English football league title.
Modern-day Blackburn betting is more focused on whether they will or won’t avoid relegation than any chance of the club returning to former Premier League glories. Punters can also wager on who will be Blackburn’s top scorer in each season and who will be the next manager of the club in times of the position becoming vacant.
