Southampton Betting Info

Southampton have had a tougher journey than most to their current spot as a higher mid-table outfit in the Premier League, but when they fell to the depths of League One, precious many coud see the club on such a tremendous comeback trail. And yet, here they are, manking the EFL Cup final last season and finishing well above the relegation zone.

It could have been better if it wasn't for injuries to main striker Charlie Austin and star centre-back Virgil Van Dijk. But, Southampton's infrastructure might just be the best in the Premier League. They consistently appoint excellent managers yet to reach the top tier and their recruitment of players is second to none.

Just look at the players they have moved on to big clubs (Ok, mostly to Liverpool); Sadio Mane, Morgan Schneiderlin, Callum Chambers, Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw, Dejan Lovren, Gareth Bale, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcot, Rickie Lambert and there are others! They still have the basis of a decent squad, but it's time to really add to that and go the extra mile.
